curriculum vitae Tommaso G. Lubrano, Surgeon Ph.M.D.
Tommaso Giorgio Lubrano is born in Turin the 10/03/1953. Graduated in
medicine and surgery and qualificatied to the exercise of
the medical profession in 1981 at the Turin University of the Studies.
It has achieved therefore the specialization in general surgery in 1988
in the same University, obtaining the maximum valutation with praise.
From 1990 he works as surgeon at Saint Giovanni University Hospitalis of Turin.
Referring in charge of the organizational coordination and
management of the Unit of Day and One-Day-Surgery in the Department
of Surgical Disciplines, Clinical Section of General Surgery and Oncology of the University of Turin, from 2001
to 2003.
Currently it carries out managing function with professional assignment
of high specialization in quality of Medical Leader for the University Division
of Surgical Oncology , where it is in charge of the activity of Day and
One-Day-Surgery and co-master of the service of surgery of the abdominal wall.
From 1993 it turns a constant engagement
professional towards this discipline, in particular with regard to
the cure of the inguinal, crural and umbilical hernia, today documented
from a wide personal operating casuistry, as first operator.
He's associate of the EUROPEAN HERNIA SOCIETY and member of FOUNDING COMMITTEE of the ITALIAN
SOCIETY HERNIA SURGERY, constituted in December 2003.
In
1994 he was part of the founding associates of the “Italian Society of
outpatient Surgery and Day Surgery " and member of the
founding committee, with the task to prepare and to put into effect the
organization of the society on regional base.
He is author of scientific jobs published on the specialized medical press
and of
articles published on periodicals, national weeklies magazine and
daily paper. It has moreover collaborated to specialistic books. He collaborate with the press “La Stampa”, “Tutto Scienze”
from 1986 up to the present, and of the weekly magazine “Viversani”. He was also Scientific Technical
editor of the “Italian Treaty of Surgical Technique” Video section
published by U.T.E.T., ce-editor of the “Bollettino Italiano Ernie e
Laparoceli/Day surgery news” years 1997, 1998, 1999. Co author of the
text “Ernia inguinale e crurale recidiva”, G.Campanelli, MINERVA MEDICA, 1996.
From 1995 it is enrolled to the S.I.A.E. section Music in quality of composer.
Enrolled as Journalists Publicists of Piedmont
and Aosta Valley from 1996.
He's enrolled as Officer in the Military section of the Italian
Red Cross, with the rank of Medical lieutenant Jr. During the operating
Service he has been Sanitary Director of the XXVIII, XXXIII, XL, XLI
CTFA (Combat Trauma First Aid), for the Sanitary preparation of
the Staff employed in theater of operations and humanitarian Missions. He participated as reporter and moderator to numerous national and international conferences about hernia and day surgery, for which he is teaching in the refresh course for
the General Medicine doctors, in those of improvement for specialist surgeons and as tutor for the Doctors during formation.
He has been invited to numerous medical public conferences and television programs aboutt such thematic. During XX Winter Olympic Giochi of Torino (2006) he worked as accredited Doctor. For his social engagement in 2004 participated to the competition “Creates the hymn
2004 of the Juventus F.C.” as composer of the finalist
hit “E' Bianconero” edit on Columbia Sony Music; supporting
in this way the plan “To grow with the Sant'Anna Hospital” for the
restructure of the unit of Neonatology of the Sant'Anna Hospital of Turin.
